ECC and non-ECC memory DIMMs cannot be mixed on the same system.

Two channels of DDR4 memory are supported. To realize full performance at least one DIMM must be inserted into each channel.

CPUs determine the speed at which the memory is clocked. If a 2666 MHz capable CPU is used in the system, the maximum speed the memory runs at 2666 MHz regardless of the specified speed of the memory.

If AMT is provisioned, then network teaming with the integrated LAN port is not possible.

NOTE:

“Gigabit” Ethernet indicates compliance with IEEE standard 802.3ab for Gigabit Ethernet, and does not connote actual operating speed of 1 Gb/sec. For high speed transmission, connection to a Gigabit Ethernet server and network infrastructure is required.

Wi-Fi 6 is backwards compatible with prior 802.11 specs.

Wireless access point and Internet service is required and is not included. Availability of public wireless access points limited. The specifications for the 802.11 WLAN are draft specifications and are not final. If the final specifications differ from the draft specifications, it might affect the ability of the notebook to communicate with other 802.11 WLAN devices.

NOTE:

The HP Z2 Tower G5 Workstation is capable of configuring up to two Z Turbo Drives. By default, the Z Turbo Drive configured is installed in the M.2 storage slot of the system motherboard.

SATA hardware-assisted RAID is not supported on Linux systems.

NOTE:

All DisplayPort ports support DP1.4 High Bit Rate HBR2 when video output is via Intel Graphics.
